Debt Buyers and Collectors Cannot be Trusted

I get many calls from consumers being harassed by debt buyers and collectors. Many times, the consumers thought the debt had long ago been resolved, or had never even heard of the debt at all. Often, after some research, I’ll find that the collector is just a fraud, making up information to try and scare cash out of people. Other times, I’ll find that the debt is incredibly old, well past the statute of limitations.
